Loyola CS faculty Dr. Peter Dordal recognized for 30 years of dedicated service
Please join me in thanking my colleague Dr. Peter Dordal for his dedicated service as a member of Loyola’s faculty.
Dr. Dordal joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences in 1982 and was a founding member of the Department of Computer Science created in 2002. In addition to his high-quality teaching of a broad range of courses, supervision of numerous student projects, and selfless advising, Dr. Dordal has held several major service roles, including Director of Computer Science Programs, departmental computing director and, more recently, Graduate Program Director.
Dr. Dordal will be honored for his milestone of service along with other faculty and staff of Lakeside and Health Science campuses at a luncheon hosted by Father Garanzini and other university administrators on April 24th.
I plan to be there as well, having joined Loyola exactly ten years after Dr. Dordal.
