Loyola CS alum (MSSE 09) Seiya Kawashima to speak at the Kansas City Developer Conference 2013

Seiya Kawashima graduated from Loyola’s MS program in software engineering in 2009 and is now an application programmer at the University of Chicago. In 2011, he was a finalist in the City of Chicago’s Apps 4 Metro Chicago programming contest.

Seiya is scheduled to speak at the Kansas City Developer Conference 2013 held from May 2 to 4. In his presentation, entitled Why not reinvent the wheel or your knowledge is limited, he will discuss the value of “reinventing the wheel” for expanding one’s knowledge through a deep understanding of successful existing solutions.

This topic is highly relevant not only to the practicing professional but also the computer science/software engineering educator, and we are grateful to Seiya for sharing his insights with the community.
