Welcome New Part-Time Computer Science Faculty!

This spring 2013 semester, it is my pleasure to welcome three new and one returning part-time computer science faculty.

  • Mr. Joe Kaylor earned a MS in Computer Science from Loyola in 2010 and received our Dijkstra Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. He is currently a Software engineer at Quantitative Risk Management and has returned to teach COMP 374/410: Operating Systems.
  • Dr. Roxanne Schwab holds a PhD in English from Saint Louis University and was an Assistant Professor at Lindenwood University for several years. This semester, she has returned to Loyola to teach COMP 250: Introduction to Scientific and Technical Communication.
  • Mr. Tom Yarrish is an experienced network administration professional and has specialized in the area of computer forensics during the last four years. He is a Lead Security Engineer at the CME Group and is joining us to teach COMP 340/488: Computer Forensics Investigations.
  • Dr. Berhane Zewdie holds a PhD from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a Senior Director of Technology at Orbitz Worldwide. He is teaching COMP 388/433: Web Services Programming at Loyola.
